What are wax melts?
Wax melts have become ever so popular but what are wax melts? I am often asked if the wax snap bars are bars of soap. Wax melts are simply wax that is placed in a wax burner that is melted by an unscented tea light.
It is the same wax as candles but without the wick. Wax melts come in all different shapes, sizes, and fragrances.
How to use a wax melt
Remove the outer wrapper
Snap a chunk off of your desired fragranced wax or 2 chunks for a stronger scent (It's also important to ensure that only the correct amount of wax is used. If you use more than a burner can hold, the wax will seep over.
Light an unscented tea light and place it within the burner.
Let the wax melt (literally)
Once the wax melts the chosen scent is then released into the area.
Wax melts are generally stronger the candles
Can you reuse wax melts?
Absolutely. You can keep reusing the same wax melt until the scent disappears. Just simply replace the unscented tealight. Due to how you can reuse wax melts they are fabulous value for money.

How to store wax melts
All of our wax melts come in glassine bags or organza bags. We recommend storing them in a cool dry area away from direct sunlight or any heat.
How to clean the wax burner
It is important to clean your burner before adding new wax melts.
If you scratch your burner, you can damage it as it could leave a crack which could be dangerous.
If you allow your wax burner to be left in a cool room when not in use, you can sometimes simply slide the remaining wax out due to how the wax shrinks.
You can also clean the wax burner by simply lighting a tea light and letting the edges of the wax melt for about a minute or two until you can see the edges melting, then extinguish the tea light and simply wipe the wax melt out of the burner.
