Tripps Somerset was created by Tracey Tripp who has a passion for candles and wax melts and well-being.
The business is a female-owned business and Tracey is an advocate of helping other ladies in business.
In 2022 Tripps Somerset was launched from home in weston-super-mare, Somerset.
Tracey started making candles as a hobby in 2015 whilst focusing on her career and kept on perfecting her skill.
Tracey says
"Scents are really important to me. It firstly starts with wanting my home to smell wonderful. It is great to have a clean home and a fragrance in a room then enhances the space. I choose my scents to suit my mood and the season.
It all started as a hobby.
I made a list of the things I wanted to do in my life and candle making was on the list. The very next morning, I went straight to the shops and bought the items I needed for candle making.
To my surprise, I found making candles so very therapeutic. The joy I would get from making a handmade candle and then giving it as gifts to friends and family which such a wonderful feeling.
We always joked about how I would run my own candle business until one day I took a leap of faith and carefully came up with a plan to make the dream a reality.
I wanted to evoke the senses and make others feel good. I use premium scents that are reminiscent of the actual scent stated on the product. I find most people buy because my reed diffusers, candles or wax melts really work and customers want their home or business to smell nice.
All products are made in Somerset where the candles are lovingly hand-poured. I use coconut and rapeseed wax which is more environmentally friendly and gives customers a much cleaner burn.
We live in such a fast-paced time that sometimes lighting a candle or putting on a wax melt is part of one's well-being routine.
I love crystals, in fact, most days I either carry a crystal with me or I'm wearing one. My love for crystals prompted me to add them to the candles.
I believe crystal candles are a great way of adding extra positive energy into a person's space. I love how they look and how they make me feel. I have spoken more about crystals on my podcast - Your Super Self with Tracey"
Why is the Business called Tripps - Somerset?
"I grew up in a village called Cheddar within Somerset. The family mostly originated from a little village called Shipham, not too far from Cheddar. Although living in Weston-super-mare now the roots of the family are within Somerset where all the products are made, plus I love my family who have help"
